what we do
Support That Walks Beside You.
We believe therapy shouldn’t happen in a bubble. That’s why we bring our neuroaffirming, play-based support directly to you—whether that’s at home, in the classroom, or out in the community.
From comprehensive NDIS assessments to ongoing skill-building, we work flexibly to meet your family where you are. We are here to help you navigate the system, celebrate your child’s strengths, and create a safe space where they can flourish.
Individual Therapy
Tailored Therapy, Built Around Them.
No two brains are the same, so neither are our sessions. Our one-on-one therapy is fully customised to your child’s unique interests and goals. We use play as a powerful tool to build skills in a way that feels natural, not forced—ensuring your child feels capable and celebrated every step of the way.
We support growth in:
Sensory Processing: Understanding regulation and body awareness.
Motor Skills: Fine dexterity (writing/drawing) and gross motor confidence.
Independence: Self-care skills like dressing, feeding, and toileting.
School Participation: Attention, transitions, and handwriting.
Social Connection: Navigating play, communication, and friendships.
Session Format & Frequency
The Standard Session (75 Minutes): We dedicate 60 minutes to direct therapy with your child (including parent feedback) and 15 minutes to clinical note-writing and planning behind the scenes.
Flexible Frequency:
Weekly: Ideal for building foundational skills or higher support needs.
Fortnightly: A balanced approach allowing time for practice between visits.
Monthly: Great for monitoring progress and consolidating skills.
We will always review and adjust this schedule as your child grows.
Assessments & Reports
A Roadmap, Not Just a Report.
Understanding your child’s unique profile is the first step to effective support. We don't just tick boxes; we look for the "why" behind the challenges. Our assessments provide a clear, comprehensive picture of your child’s strengths and needs, giving you the evidence required for NDIS funding, school support, and future planning.
Key Assessments We Offer:
Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA): Essential for NDIS access, plan reviews, and funding requests.
Sensory Processing Profiles: To understand regulation needs.
School Readiness & Developmental Checks: Identifying support needs early.
Our Promise: Our reports are jargon-free, family-friendly, and goal-oriented. We are also happy to attend case conferences to advocate for the support your child deserves.
School & Community Visits
Bridging the Gap Between Home & School.
Children often behave differently in a classroom than they do at home. We visit schools, kindergartens, and community settings to see the full picture. By collaborating with educators, we ensure your child isn't just "coping" at school, but actively participating and learning in an environment that understands them.
How We Help Educators & Families:
Classroom Observation: Identifying barriers to focus and participation.
Real-Time Strategies: Support during tricky transitions (e.g., morning drop-offs).
Environmental Adjustments: Simple sensory tweaks to help regulation.
Collaborative Goals: aligning plans with Student Support Groups (SSG) and Individual Learning Plans (ILP).
Parent Coaching & Support
Empowering You to Be the Expert.
You are your child’s biggest advocate and their safest harbour. But you shouldn't have to figure it all out alone. We walk alongside you, equipping you with the practical tools, scripts, and strategies to navigate daily challenges with confidence—reducing overwhelm for the whole family.
Practical Support For:
Emotional Coaching: How to co-regulate during meltdowns.
Home Routines: Strategies for sleep, mealtimes, and toileting.
Visual Supports: Creating schedules and social stories that work.
Transitions: Planning for school starts or changes in routine.
Sessions are available face-to-face or via Telehealth to suit your busy schedule.
